The New and Improved UnitWise!

May 3, 2010

Have you been to UnitWise lately? If so, you may have noticed we changed some things around. The site now has a fresh summer look, with vibrant colors and floral accents. The changes aren’t just cosmetic though, we’ve added a number of improvements to the site. Here are just a few:

Social Media Updates
We’ve made a number of great improvements to the social media section:
-Your website now has vertical navigation for all your pages–a neat and tidy solution for those of you with dozens of pages
-Your website can now display your Twitter feed (if you’ve linked your Twitter account to UnitWise)
-You can now password protect pages! Make pages just for your Unit!
-You can upload photos and documents to your website and access them whenever you want through your image library.

Others
We’ve made a variety of usability improvements that speed up the program and make it easier to use. We’re also hard at a work on a new help system that will be even more helpful–loaded with tons of informative tidbits and videos.

This is just the tip of the iceberg folks! There are more changes and updates coming this summer! If you’d like to check out UnitWise, feel free to email us and set up a live demo, or sign up now for 15 days free!

New themes are here!

March 19, 2010

We’ve been working hard on some new themes for your website. Like the one you see here. This one is called Radiance. It comes in a number of pleasing shades. As promised, we’re working on more of these themes. If you have any suggestions, please let us know.

What else are we bringing you? There’s the Blvd Migration tool, the new menus, and new social media features.  We’ve also fixed some minor bugs and sped up the customer center.

We’ve received a number of requests for a mobile version of UnitWise. Rest assured, we are working on that. Right now you can use UnitWise on your mobile browser, just like any other website. It might be kind of small, but everything works, so if you need to create a quick invoice or add a contact on the go, that will do in a pinch. In later spring/early summer, we’ll have a version optimized for mobile phones.

If you’re going to a career conference in Knoxville, Charlotte, or Little Rock, look for us there! We’ll be on hand to spread the word and answer any UnitWise questions.

New spring promotion!

March 17, 2010

Great news UnitWise members! We’ve got a new promotion for you. If you refer four friends to UnitWise, you can receive a month free.

To send a referral to your friends and family, login to UnitWise then click the My Account link at the top.

You’ll see a new tab to the right called Referral.

Click that tab to see your referral options. To send referrals click the link that says “Send Referral Emails to friends and family.”

This will bring up a window with a message in it. You can use the message here, edit it, or create your own. Input the email address of the person you to send it to, then click send.

When they click the link in the email and sign up, the referral will be credited to your account. Get four people to sign up and remain members for at least one paid month, and you’ll receive a month free! You can come back to your referral tab at any time to check the status of your referrals.

If you’re heading to a Career Conference in the next couple of weeks, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to refer friends to UnitWise. So get out there and spread the word!

Leave desktop programs behind!

March 10, 2010

It’s now safe to leave your desktop-based programs behind. We’ve had hundreds of requests for a Blvd to UnitWise migration tool, and it’s available now.

Importing your Blvd customers and invoices is easy. Just download a small program from the Tools menu, abd it will take care of the rest, organizing your Blvd data into UnitWise compatible files. The whole thing will take you just a few minutes. Watch the video below for a full info migration walk through.

Easy right? You can get started now by clicking on the Tools link in your UnitWise account.

If you’re still not a UnitWise member, what are you waiting for? You can bring all your old info with you. It’s like switching from black and white TV to color. Head to www.UnitWise.com to sign up now!
