Prayers for Haiti

Whenever there’s a tragic disaster like the earthquake in Haiti, it seems like everyone you know has a connection to it.

My little brother is a watercraft engineer in the Army. On Monday he left for a six to nine months deployment to the Caribbean. Then the earthquake happened, and he and his crew were reassigned to disaster relief for Haiti. His deployment could be extended to a year, which would be hard on his wife, and the rest of the family, but it’s good to know he’ll be helping people–there are a lot of people down there that need it.

If you have a connection to the disaster, be it a family member, a friend, or just a distant contact, our thoughts and prayers are with you, along with everyone else affected by the earthquake.
